Target firms in the Computer, Telecom, Medical Equipment, Industrial and Aircraft industries;
Target senior decision makers that have responsibility for managing customer service repair programs;
Focus on selling value producing solutions that include expedited air and ground transportation, local Parts Depots, Call Center, Inventory Systems with customer web access;
Develop sales strategies that leverage the AGS transportation and delivery network, management, technology and customer service centers;
Provide leadership and team consensus building with AGS Regional and District management;
Develop PowerPoint and web-based presentation material;
Develop a target list of at least 500 firms that would be prime prospects for AGS Parts Logistics;
Jointly, with the AGS marketing department, develop print, mail and email promotion programs.
Minimum of 10 years sales and sales management experience;
BS Degree in Business or Logistics; MBA a plus;
Several years of operational supervisory or management experience a plus;
Experience in selling transportation and logistics solutions;
Display a passion for direct selling to a target list of companies and a passion for recruiting and developing people;
Excellent verbal and writing skills;
Strong leadership skills that would inspire sales and service personnel to work as a Team;
Strong conceptual skills that would understand customer solution needs and develop a clear and personalized value proposition to complete the sale;
Ability to adapt to different decision maker levels from shipping, logistics, purchasing to executive management;
Experience in selling to mid-size fast growth companies and to large Fortune 1000 companies.
