Westinghouse Electric Company has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Continuous Improvement professional within the Continuous Improvement Department to lead high impact cross company improvement initiatives (Master Black Belt Projects) and provide oversight to Black Belt and Green Belt projects (Program Management).
In this position, a Master Customer 1st Leader will be responsible for the following:
â€¢ Drive change through leading large-scale/high complexity improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean, Human Performance, and Behavioral Differentiation tools/skills.
â€¢ Provide oversight to all Black Belt and Green Belt projects run by the Continuous Improvement Department in assigned region including progress monitoring, Stage Gate approvals, benefit realization, mentorship, etcâ€¦
â€¢ Maintain proficiency and expand knowledge in the application of Six Sigma, Lean, Human Performance, and Behavioral Differentiation tools/skills.
â€¢ Act as Continuous Improvement liaison and /or coordinator for internal departments.
â€¢ Mentor others being trained in the Six Sigma, Lean, Human Performance, and Behavioral Differentiation tools/skills.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Candidate may be required to travel to domestic and international sites.
A successful candidate would be familiar with and/or have experience with the following:
â€¢ A Technical bachelorâ€™s degree or equivalent is required.
â€¢ Typically 10+ years engineering and/or quality experience is required.
â€¢ In depth knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean required.
â€¢ In depth knowledge of Human Performance (HuP) and Behavior Differentiation tools and techniques are desirable.
â€¢ Certified Black Belt required.
â€¢ Certified Customer 1st leader is desirable.
â€¢ Demonstrated ability to deliver results, manage multiple priorities in parallel, and influence the organization to improve.
â€¢ Demonstrated team leadership skills in addressing complex and diverse issues.
â€¢ Project management experience coordinating and leading complex projects is desirable.
â€¢ Experience interfacing with and communicating effectively to multiple levels of management.
