Identifies and and coordinates specific ongoing customized client service needs including plan design exceptions, and documentation exceptions as requested by both client and financial advisor.
Develops and maintains knowledge of IRS and ERISA regulations pertaining to the 401(k)/S125 products to provide optimal service and technical guidance regarding plan maintenance and to ensure plan compliance with all regulations. Utilizes this information to review plans in book of business on an annual basis, at minimum, with client and their advisors.
Conducts client visits for current clients both for clients experiencing difficulties, or upon client request to maintain/strengthen client relationships.
Conducts web seminar meetings with clients and their employees to encourage maximum employee 401(k) plan participation for assigned clients.
Communicates with outside parties, including CPAs, attorneys, auditors, and third party vendors, to assist with client plan management and to resolve audits and compliance matters in a timely manner.
Maintains a partnership with sales to assist in the creation of a needs analysis, presale document review, and setting of client exceptations as at all points of a clients' lifecycle with Paychex.
Acts as the primary contact (conversion coordinator) for the client and all interested parties during conversion/setup process. Develops, documents, delivers, and discusses plan and schedule with each client to ensure accurate conversion/setup .
Establishes and manages communications regarding financial advisors books of business, to include metrics, book of business performance, participation, etc. Also acts as a point of contact for advisors and is resposible for maintaining a positive relationship with these essential business partners
A minimum of 3 years experience in the retirement services industry is required. A bachelors degree is preferred. Consideration may be given to a candidate with a degree in lieu of experience. Advanced industry certification (QKA, QPA, QPFC, etc) are required at date of hire. Series 6 and 63 are required within 6 months of employment.
