The Process Management Specialist is an experienced professional with the ability to design new robust and lean processes, complying with regulatory guidelines and internal policies. This role will incorporate a strong consultant oriented approach working with the business lines within Commercial Operations to design and deliver new and improved processes, supported by detailed process maps, procedures and standard operating procedures. Through engagement with business partners, business analysts and a good understanding of the products and operational processes, you will need to deliver high quality documentation for Commercial Operations.
Primary responsibilities include:
Do process walkthroughs, analyze operations processes and design new robust processes complying with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Partner with Business Lines, Risk and the Business Analysts to improve existing processes and create risk resilient processes
Create high quality process maps, procedures, standard operating procedures and training materials
Lead and support the delivery of high quality documentation for teams across Commercial Operations
Create, maintain and act as the custodian of the taxonomy of processes and the central repository of documentation for all of Commercial Operations
Develop strong working relationships with teams across Commercial Operations and the Risk team
Collaborate with project team stakeholders and senior management as needed to ensure project and business needs are met without disruption to existing functions and services
May lead/manage projects related to processes and documentation. May train junior team members.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in process designing and mapping
Excellent written and verbal skills
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office- including MS Visio and MS PowerPoint, Infomap
Ability to plan and prioritize workload
Good communication and collaboration skills
Ability to meet timelines within an environment of competing priorities
Good knowledge of the Group Policy Framework
Good analytical skills
Project management skills
Good knowledge of products and processes within Commercial Operations
Ability to build and nurture relationships
Educational, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:
Required - High School or Equivalent (GED)
Preferred – Bachelor Degree
Preferred – A professional certification in process management
