Specific Job Functions
Plans, develops, organizes, implements, directs, reviews and evaluates Rocket Fuel’s Human Resource function and performance metrics.
Evaluate Rocket Fuel’s current HR function. Propose and implement optimal HR structure.
Provides direction and consultation to the company with regards to HR policies, procedures, programs and initiatives.
Evaluate company requirements for HRIS. Lead implementation.
Ensure company is compliant with all local, state and federal laws.
Must have proven ability to provide strategic counsel in all matters affecting the organization including organization restructuring, succession planning, talent acquisition, and talent development.
Review trends in compensation, propose opportunities and consult with leaders to implement guidelines.
Experience in leading performance management and talent calibration initiatives to strengthen the organization.
Ability to provide sophisticated advice and coaching in response to business issues.
Confident in stepping forward to confront difficult issues.
Participate (as needed) in interviews, candidate selection and compensation reconciliation & development for managers and executives.
Reinforce culture in senior managers and help develop junior managers.
Conduct 360 reviews of senior management.
Oversee on-boarding and training of new employees.
Develop and mentor direct reports.
At least 8 years’ experience.
Successful track record as a HR business partner and advisor to functional leaders.
Experience working in high-growth startups.
Experience managing benefits, payroll, and other administrative functions.
Attention to detail and sense of urgency.
Experience with Trinet.
Experience leading HRIS implementation.
