Supply Chain Materials Specialist
for our Henkel Chemical Management Business will be responsible for the performance and execution of the materials management program at a customer's location. This program supports the broader Chemical Management Program to provide engineering support, logistics, environmental support, customer service, continuous improvement, trouble-shooting, and general account management.
Work with Site Manager and customer to review all products stored in warehouse.
Scan inventory in plant to determine delivery quantities of chemicals
Provide daily shipping/receiving and warehouse tasks assigned to HCM
Receive materials accurately into the inventory management system
Warehouse, label, and deliver products in compliance with customer labeling regulations
Report to Materials/Warehouse Supervisor all vendor labeling problems, excess inventories, duplicate products and product out of shelf life
Identify and help implement improvements to warehouse operation
Report changes in inventory usages and service levels needed to meet customer needs
Create Lab Tickets in Oracle database and work with customer lab to prioritize testing

Who we are looking for
3 years manufacturing or warehousing experience.
Technical minded/Process oriented individual.
Ability to communicate effectively with external and internal customers.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to multitask & set priorities.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office / Excel and Lotus Notes
Education: Bachelors or Associates degree in Supply Chain/Materials Management, Chemistry or Engineering.
