The Wound Care Technician practices within the scope of the State of Utah Certified Nurse Assistant and/or EMT certification. This position performs essential job duties to support the treatment and healing of patients under the direction of Wound Care Service under the direction of a licensed supervising clinician.

Shift Details: This is a 16 hours PRN shift position. Clinical hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Rotating weekends

Current Certified Nurse Assistant certification
This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification. An original card must be verified prior to start date or the job offer will be withdrawn. For additional information regarding CPR requirements please visit our Job Requirements Page .
Must be able to position and transfer patients independently and safely
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Six months previous work clinical experience
A current Utah EMT certification and/or MA certification
Previous experience in a wound setting
Knowledge of clean vs. sterile techniques in a medical setting
Knowledge and understanding of wound care therapies
