Responsibilities
The incumbent in this position establishes and maintains office procedures. Provides office operations/management and extensive administrative support to the Care Management Department. Schedules meetings, conferences and appoitnments in accordance with established procedure. Contacts parties, schedules room, makes apporpriate arrangements, ie catering, travel, hotel, within required time frames. Oversees Directors calender. Organizes external agency presentations on site. Takes minutes for department related committees. Collates/format agenda items and related material in establishing meeting agenda. Maintains an accurate database on the denied and appealed cases. Prepares complex administrative reports, statements, etc., in accordance with established department procedure. Maintains list of agencies and community resources and publishes on a quarterly basis;maintains and communicates nursing home bed availability; prepares Medicaid and Medicare monthly reporting; Completed Medicaid bed hold documentation. Maintains documention in support of free care fund. Receives and screens visitors and telephone calls. Greets and receives visitors in a courteous and professional manner and promptly notifies appropriate personnel when required. Screens incoming calls and routes to appropriate person or takes accurate message. Establishes contacts inside and outside Hospital to obtain or relay information, arrange meetings, gather data, etc. Efficiently obtains and/or relays information and interacts with a variety of healthcare system executives, medical staff and/or customers in a professional and efficient manner at all times.
Qualifications
High School/GED required. Associate Degree preferred. 3-5 years experience in a similar position. Sound judgement, strong interpersonal skills, high level of motivation, demonstrated problem solving and advanced organizational skills and ability to work with little guidance. Ability to manage multiple priorities, support projects of various scopes and maintain confidentiality.computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Site Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Other Information

Full-time 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Location 759 Chestnut St.
Testing Required - MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Typing
