Perform network engineering as part of the BAMS test and evaluation team. Develop test strategies and execute test plans both on a distributed network and lab environment. Participate as part of the Networking IPT with prime contractor, SPAWAR engineers, NAVAIR engineers. Perform verification of networking requirements and make recommendations for upgrades and performance improvement. Troubleshoot network issues both in a distributed network and a lab environment. Mentor junior engineers on networking troubleshooting techniques.
Education/Experience: BSEE or bachelor's and ten (10) years experience or 15 years without a degree. Five (5) years networking experience. CISSP desired. CCNA desired.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must understand and be comfortable with IP networking, troubleshooting skills, IP encrypters, local and wide area networking.
