QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience; 3 Years experience in core discipline. Desired: 4-6 years Experience in core discipline in the healthcare industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: With supervision, the Network Analyst II is responsible for keeping the network infrastructure and associated operating components fully operational and well integrated into NMH information technology environment. Technical Skills: Guides network maintenance and implementation efforts; Designs and coordinates the installation, testing, and maintenance of network hardware, software, and facilities; Responsible for the ongoing monitoring, problem identification, and resolution for the network and associated hardware and software components; Maintains solid technical competence for the network, associated components, monitoring tools, and other assigned systems while grasping the integration and interaction of all supported systems; Integrates mainframe/server/distributed platform solutions into NMH information technology (IT) environment through effective configuration of the network; Provides technical leadership and support for the network and associated projects; Provides diagnostic skills and expertise to coordinate problem determination and solution, including vendors and manufacturers, across the full range of NMH mainframe/server/distributed system IT environment; Coordinates problem resolution with the Customer Response Unit (CRU). Customer Service: Responds thoroughly and promptly to customer needs as defined in conjunction with our customers; "Owns" customer relationships and follows issues through to closure; Includes all aspects of customers (NMH technology users, IS team members, etc.); Works effectively in supporting the application teams with project and support activities; Actively participates and communications with the project teams; Prepares and delivers effective support by seeking a thorough understanding of the team's goals and objectives; Understands the business and clinical processes at NMH and the operational environments of assigned customers. Communication Skills: Communicates clearly, responsively, and purposely with customers and team members; Develops effective relationships with users and other IS team members to enhance the timeliness and effectiveness of technology solutions. Planning: Reviews technology projects, analyzes business requirements, recommends network changes, writes technical specifications, and implements network changes to address changing application requirements; Participates in the development of NMH best practice standards; Understands and helps enforce standards, policies and procedures for network technologies. Personal and Staff Development: Seeks to improve talents and skills consistent with overall IS direction; Provides mentoring and acts as a resource for Network Analyst I as well as members of the application teams. Teamwork: Focuses on IS team success and promotes collaborative efforts with others; Shifts easily among different technical and project roles as required by situation; Adapts well to rapid change and multiple priorities; Contributes to the IS Knowledge Repository.
