We are seeking New Business Development Representatives to work with prospects nationwide in the architecture, engineering and construction industries. Our fast-paced, work environment requires aggressive, results-oriented self-starters who demonstrate enthusiasm for success, eagerness to learn, and ability to communicate effectively and consistently over the phone. Reps will work in a team environment where they are expected to produce results with little supervision. Our company provides an online, software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution that reduces paperwork and saves money on commercial construction projects. We currently have customers nationwide. Our company is growing rapidly despite today’s economy, and we are eagerly seeking high quality individuals to join our team.
Meet monthly and quarterly revenue goals
Build a consistent pipeline of new business
Prospect, generate and qualify prospects, seek referrals and cold calling
Identify and connect with potential new customers, and lay the foundation for future sales by calling and interacting with decision makers at targeted organizations
Deliver product demonstrations and discovery calls for prospects, customers and partners
Record consistent, accurate activity using the company’s standardized tracking and reporting tools in salesforce.com.
Ability to sell software over the phone
Strong consultative sales techniques to penetrate new territories and build a steady pipeline of opportunities that result in closed sales
Ability to quickly learn and apply industry, product, and sales process knowledge
Consistently achieve a target volume of telephone contacts with prospects (daily/weekly/monthly)
Maintain industry and product knowledge to effectively and confidently respond to questions
Increase the quality and volume of opportunities generated (achieving monthly/quarterly opportunity quota)
Meet organizational standards regarding availability, attendance, and punctuality
2 to 5 years of telephone sales or cold calling experience with proven results
Excellent telephone and communication skills
Sales presentation and product demonstration skills (using web-based presentation platforms like GoToMeeting a definite plus).
Working knowledge of the Internet and MS-Office software, salesforce.com or other CRM
