Chartis has an opportunity for a Business Development Manager it its Sales and Marketing division. Duties of the position are as follows:
Relationship management for target broker territory with the goal of developing new and existing growth opportunities across Chartis.
Develop and implement a business plan for each assigned broker focusing on the targeted profit centers for the Corporate Accounts and small business segments.
Identify and qualify any additional production sources.
Obtain new business submissions and facilitate total account development to meet cross-selling objectives.
Ensure effective communication with assigned producers of Chartis products and services through training and marketing programs.
Ensure broker service expectations are attained.
Territory will cover the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore areas.
Three to five years of sales/marketing experience with commercial insurance products.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
