This position serves as the primary contact for WIC regional administrative staff for the development and on-going training and updates of the WIC computer system. Functions as the regional trainer and "train the trainer" of WIC local agency staff for the WIC computer module. Provides on-site training and technical support to the WIC local agency administrative staff upon request. Provides consultation and serves on the development, deployment and training team for the WIC computer system. Tests all WIC computer system modifications prior to implementation in the local agencies. Updates the WIC computer module food tables as required. Develops an Administrative Proficiency test for all new administrative new hires into the WIC program statewide. Acts as the e-learning coordinator; which includes maintaining and entering training schedules as well as attendee information for the Division of WIC Services. Acts as the WIC Administrative liaison between the Division of WIC Services and the Office of Administrative support. Conducts the food delivery component of WIC local agency Management Evaluations and follow-up reviews when necessary; analyzes the results and develops appropriate action plans within designated time frames. Assures administrative staff in Regions understands the role of explaining the use of vouchers to participants.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree and two (2) years administrative management or professional experience; or an associate degree and six (6) years experience in administrative, management or professional experience; or a high school diploma and eight (8) years of administrative, management or professional experience.
A minimum of 3 years experience in direct patient services in the WIC Program. Thorough knowledge of the use of the WIC computer module and WIC policy and procedures for food delivery. Considerable knowledge of the agency's computer based information system as it relates to WIC food delivery.
