This position maintains the overall function of the office and firearms paperwork, as well as p
erforms general administrative duties including typing, data entry, mailing, billing, answering telephones, and filing.
Prepares various correspondence including: memos, facsimile transmissions, letters and policies.
Establishes and maintains files and records to ensure accessibility of information and efficient department operations.
Prepares various reports and spreadsheets.
Answers phones, directs phone calls as appropriate, and responds to requests for information.
Maintains schedules for managers, including meetings, interviews and training.
Orders office supplies and oversees service of copy and facsimile machines.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
Knowledge of company products, policies, and procedures.
Knowledge of business communications practices and principles.
Skill in operating personal computer and various software packages including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel.
Skill in operating various office equipment such as: copy machine, adding machine, facsimile machine, typewriter, and telephone system.
Ability to type 50-60 wpm.
Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
Ability to organize, prioritize and complete multiple projects in a detail-oriented fashion.
Ability to effectively function as a team player.
High School graduate or equivalent, plus 6 months of related administrative experience.
Must be able to work the following: at least 3 out of 4 weekends a month; any day, including holidays; opening and closing shifts.
