Heights Academy is an elementary school located in the Douglass neighborhood. The Lunch Administrator is expected to maintain a “whatever it takes for our children” attitude. Flexibility, organization, and the ability to positively interact with children are also essential. Experience with minimal data entry is helpful. The Lunch Administrator will report to the Principal at the school.
Counting breakfasts and lunches after they are delivered
Preparing the breakfast and lunch carts, and delivering them to classrooms
Serving breakfast and lunch to all students, as appropriate
Wiping down the cafeteria tables, as appropriate
Packing and organizing snacks, and delivering to classrooms
Assisting with the process of entering meal participation counts, as needed
Tidying and organizing the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health regulations
Organizing the refrigerator and storage areas
Serving food at school events, such as parent breakfasts or picnics
Schedule and hours:
This job requires, and is limited to, 30 hours per week.
These hours will always include enough time to prepare breakfast, serve lunch, and pack snacks.
The schedule for the lunch aide is up to the discretion of the school leader, and can be changed depending on need.
