Job Description:
Chartwells Higher Education brings fresh ideas and innovative concepts to higher education foodservice. This position is responsible for managing both the board and retail foodservice operations as well as supporting catering. You will be responsible for interacting with clients, along with ensuring that the food and service at the functions is of superior quality. You will handle the following:

Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Interviewing, hiring, training and coaching employees and entry level managers

Planning, assigning and directing job duties

Participate in employee meetings, reviews and development

Ensure compliance with proper sanitation and cleaning standards

Performs related duties and special projects as assigned

Additional responsibilities include the reporting of operating statements, reports, and operational budgets, and review of the collection of receivables.

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft office, internet, and email

Associate's degree preferred.

One to three years of foodservice management experience preferred.

Campus dining experience preferred.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Financial and business acumen.

Excellent communication skills.
