BioClinica is currently recruiting for a Senior-level role to oversee the internal software and reports development, as well as manage the development of operational excellence tools and platforms to drive efficiencies across BioClinica’s suite of products and services in the eClinical division.

This new role will be expected to:
  • Develop tools and systems to benefit eClinical Operations and Customers by directing internal operational activities, involving external suppliers, functional peers, customer teams and/or cross-functional teams
  • Implement operational tools in order to improve product quality enable operational efficiencies
  • Review internal operational and reporting capability and environment (e.g., technology, systems, quality, cost, efficiencies) in order to recommend system and tool improvements.
  • Implement operational tools in order to improve product quality enable operational efficiencies
  • Document current state processes and business systems and compare to benchmarking data and/or best practices in order to identify performance gaps.
  • Develop and manage a metrics program to rate and drive improvement in our internal processes and technologies
In addition to supervisory responsibilities, the Director will oversee internal software maintenance and reports development by:
  • Analyzing, prioritizing, and implementing the design and development of software maintenance projects
  • Evaluating and enhancing analytical reporting capabilities to address both internal and external customer needs
  • Identifying opportunities for standardization across reporting
  • Managing lifecycle for multiple applications including, deliverables, milestones, resources, workflow, release and training
Required Skills Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree in Engineering or similar highly preferred.

  • MS project experience
Required Experience Required Experience:
  • 8+ years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within supply chain
  • 5+ years managing client relationships
  • 3+ years experience in eclinical software development role
  • Experience in business transformation and process improvement roles using proven problem solving/continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with change management and influencing organizational culture change.
  • 3+ years experience in a project management role.
