Qualifications & Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and 7+ years of experience working with HRIS system technology, including extensive experience with PeopleSoft HCM v8.9 - 9.1 for Core HR and Benefits Administration in a global environment, are required. Must have thorough knowledge of PeopleCode, PeopleSoft SQR, PeopleSoft Application Designer, and SQL. Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services knowledge would be a plus.
The ideal candidate must have excellent judgment, problem-solving, oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while building positive working relationships. In addition, candidates must be self-motivated, organized, and able to multi-task and effectively prioritize competing demands on time and attention. Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
Essential Job Functions
The PeopleSoft Developer provides expertise on HR technology and its architecture and also designs, develops and implements complex, business critical HR systems solutions using advanced analytical skills and tools as necessary. Responsibilities include: consulting with other departments to determine their goals and objectives for HR systems, providing technical recommendations for achieving those goals and then designing and developing the appropriate solutions; troubleshooting and resolving complex production support issues quickly and summarizing and reporting the results; producing appropriate documentation and notifications for changes to production systems or fixes to production problems; creating, enhancing and analyzing complex data metrics and procedures; testing, configuring, documenting and preparing for system upgrades, enhancements and other backend system developments; creating and running statistical reports as well as ad hoc requests for clients; other responsibilities as assigned.
The PeopleSoft Developer may also lead and/or direct team members through departmental efforts and participate in testing or analysis associated with cross-functional team projects.
