Oversee learning programs in support of Universal Orlando business needs and goals and for Technical Services client group and Safety and Compliance training. Serve as a performance consultant in researching and developing training initiatives or other interventions to support those needs and, develop measures for assessing knowledge.
Job Responsibilities :
Create and implement strategic vision and direction for assigned client group to continuously drive improvements in productivity, performance and service. Creates targeted and integrated training programs that link to individual development, increased business performance, employee satisfaction and brand promise.
Consistently monitor, adjust and strategically address the safety and compliance training needs for Universal Orlando. Work with business partners (both internally and externally) to ensure that compliance in all areas is achieved, reported and maintained.
Provide performance consulting support for assigned client. Identify business and leadership performance gaps, recommend appropriate interventions, build appropriate programs/processes and measure and lead in their execution.
Analyzes trends, identifies gaps and uses Universal Orlando metrics and measures (GSAT, TSAT, performance management data, etc.,) to oversee the development of targeted strategic training plans for assigned client group(s). Create targeted training and performance metrics for assigned client group and institute Level I, II and III evaluations.
Provides leadership, support and development opportunities to the Senior Trainer and Trainers, Safety & Compliance ensuring that they have the tools necessary as well as the infrastructure to provide exceptional service to the organization.
Partner with the HR Field and HR Development teams in the communication, coordination and support of the globalized TSAT, 360 degree feedback and individual development plan processes. Collaborate to develop and drive action plans focused on performance improvement. Support analysis of data to recommend learning needs of appropriate client group(s).
Provides project support and assistance to Team Member Services, Communications and Staffing teams (i.e., SPOT Talks, Universal News, Hiring Events, etc.)
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business Management, Organizational Development and/or Human Resources required.
3-5 years experience working in a training / human resources environment required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Background in technical training is helpful.
