The position involves providing direct guidance to a team of 787 AMS Service Engineers reporting directly to you in the performance of their duties. This leadership role will have primary responsibility for driving timely closure of root cause investigations of 787 AMS field issues. You will also work with Engineering and Program Office to identify and introduce robust corrective actions against aggressive timelines.
In this role you will frequently interface with Boeing, airline customers and UTAS Field Service Representatives as well as internal UTAS Engineering, the Customer Response Center and a variety of other Customer Support functions. This assignment will involve system level troubleshooting, data gathering of field issues, root cause investigation, data analysis, executive report generation, and response generation to customer technical inquiries. Initiation, planning, and control of Service Bulletins for 787 AMS products will also be required.
In this position you will act as the ('cVoice of the Customer ('d for promoting positive change to 787 AMS products and processes and support the preparation and presentation of functional and maintenance training for 787 AMS systems. Development and promotion of standard work to support this activity will also be required.
Travel to Customer's work sites (Boeing and Operators) as well as critical suppliers in support of 787 AMS programs will be periodically required, possibly on short notice.

Master's degree preferred
Knowledge of AMS 787 systems with 10 years experience with Air Management products for other aircraft applications. Experience in aircraft systems, product and aircraft troubleshooting techniques desired. FAA Airframe and Powerplant background a plus. Excellent Communication skills, written and verbal are required including background involving direct interface with customers. Ability to proficiently operate common Microsoft Office Software products for Personal Computers is required.
