Environmental Scientist/Regulatory Project Manager HDR -

HDR currently has an opening for an Environmental Project Manager to join our team in Corpus Christi, TX. This position will provide project management for multiple regulatory projects in Texas Gulf Coast area. Responsibilities include, monthly progress and budget reporting, development of project plans, coordination of field efforts and reporting, working with the investigation team to determine best approach for characterization, quality assurance of all documentation, stakeholder and public relations, and client relations.
Requirements
B.S. In Environmental Sciences or related field of study
Environmental scientist with 10+ years of permitting/regulatory experience. Preferably 5+ years experience leading U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) permitting projects in the USACE Galveston District. Must have strong competency in all aspects of USACE permitting and related regulatory programs. Candidate should be able to demonstrate experience with wetland delineations, habitat surveys, endangered species consultations, coordination with regulatory agencies, and general regulatory consulting. Competency with industry standard field techniques and instrumentation is required. Candidate should also demonstrate a sound understanding of coastal communities, trends, regulatory programs, and policies.
Candidate should demonstrate experience with project management, including but not limited to proposal writing, estimating project fees, project cost control, invoicing, scheduling, and reporting.
Candidate should be flexible and able to perform a variety of tasks ranging from data collection in the field to project and client management. Excellent writing skills are required. Candidates should submit a writing sample.
