The Implementation Consultant works as a member of our
Professional Services team to ensure the successful
delivery and implementation of EmpCenter, our leading
workforce management suite for large employers. The
Implementation Consultant is a true advisor to our
clients. You will be responsible for interviewing
clients, documenting their business requirements, and
providing them best practice recommendations to save
them time and money when deploying our workforce
management solution. Once EmpCenter is configured, you
will train clients in the use of the EmpCenter platform
and will assist clients in testing and rollout
activities. You enjoy working with end-users and like
the excitement of getting a new system up and running.
Working under tight timelines to meet go-live dates is
something you are not afraid of and you take on the
challenge with vigor. You understand that no two
projects are the same, and so you are just as flexible
as our software in your approach to working with
clients.
Responsibilities
  • Learn, understand and grow our business
  • Educate clients on the best practices in deployment
and implementation of workforce management software
  • Learn aspects of labor laws and how they affect
employers
  • Become an expert in EmpCenter end user and
administrative functions
  • Interview clients and document business requirements
  • Conduct web-based and on-site customer training
workshops
  • Assist clients with designing, writing, and
executing test cases
  • Assist clients with roll out and go-live activities
such as data loads and system initialization
  • Experience as a business analyst or other functional
lead interviewing clients and document requirements
  • Experience conducting training sessions (working
with large audiences is a plus)
  • Experience in implementing or training on a packaged
software system or highly complex internally
developed application
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with business applications, such as Word
and PowerPoint
  • Must work well as a team member and individually
  • Ability to work with multiple clients concurrently
  • Ability to travel to client sites throughout the US
and Canada at least 75% of the time
Education
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Other Desirable Requirements
  • Background in HR, Payroll, or Time & Attendance
  • Experience in writing and executing QA test plans
  • Experience in implementation or training of a
packaged software system
  • Logical and technical mindset that is able to
analyze problems and identify root causes
