The Analyst of Sales Reporting & Analytics has the responsibility to provide timely and accurate sales data, analysis, and reporting to support the Sales function at the regional level. Our company produces an incredible amount of data and information that can be highly leveraged. Increasing our analysis and examination of forecast data and bookings data can lead to many significant and meaningful insights. Metrics available through sales analytics efforts enable leadership to work proactively while responding to issues as they develop, which could be a significant step towards shortening sales cycles, improving efficiencies, and increasing sales productivity. This role will partner with regional leaders and will provide both regularly scheduled as well as ad-hoc reporting and findings at all points throughout each quarter.
Superior analytical skills and ability to work with very large sets of data originating from multiple sources.
Deep interest and aptitude in data, metrics, analysis and trends.
Excels working with Microsoft Excel and using the system for data manipulation, analysis, and charting.
Ability to successfully work cross-functionally in a large and growing organization.
Attention to detail and time management to deliver high quality work for multiple projects across several engagements while meeting deadlines.
Critical thinking and the capability of generating consistently accurate, useful reports in addition to an enthusiasm for translating data into actionable insight.
Possession of consultative background and approach needed to scope and define solutions that will generate measurable results across the organization.
Flexibility required in order to satisfy demands for complex ad-hoc analyses, translation of sales data, and creation of presentations to support Sales management in order to identify trends and opportunities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Demonstrated ability to transform multiple sources of information into actionable intelligence while maintaining data integrity is required.
Demonstrated track record in building strong, collaborative relationships with senior sales leaders is required.
Experience and proficiency with Salesforce.com and the ability to navigate the system and retrieve data
Technology and/or healthcare experience preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
2 years experience supporting a sales team
4-6 years relevant work experience.
