The University of Indianapolis seeks applications for an Admissions and Curriculum Counselor in the School of Nursing at the University of Indianapolis. This is a full-time, twelve-month, exempt staff position.
Responsibilities: The counselor will perform a broad range of duties to provide comprehensive support to the RN- BSN , Accelerated Master’s ( AMP ), and off-campus nursing programs. This position collaborates with the undergraduate and graduate nursing program directors and faculty, School of Nursing Key Advisors, the Registrar’s Office, School for Adult Learning, other University offices, and community-based academic partner liaisons to ensure high-quality academic advisement and student support systems for the RN- BSN , AMP , and off-campus nursing programs.

Required Education/Experience/Skills (Minimum Qualifications)
A bachelor’s degree and experience in a support position in a college environment are required. Additional qualifications include computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, use of the Internet, and email; excellent interpersonal skills to include public speaking and in-depth telephone conferencing and counseling; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse customers; proficiency or ability to learn database management, Banner, and other software used in the University environment; and proficiency or ability to learn basic Web content management skills.
