Job Description

Customer Support Engineer

Seeking Support Engineers interested in providing technical support to customers for issues including but not limited to administration, installation, licensing, usage and applications. Using excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, this role ensures that technical problems are analyzed, documented and resolved, and new releases are delivered, creating an outstanding customer experience and enhancing the team's knowledge. This role reports to the Technical Support Manager and interacts daily with all business units but most commonly with the support group and engineering group. The Support Engineer will provide support for all aspects of CADIQ, DEXcenter, CADfix and Proficiency. Skills: o 5-7 years of experience in technical support, help desk or desktop support in Windows and Unix environments. o 5-7 years of MCAD/CAM/CAE system customer support o 3-5 years of experience installing and using CATIA, ProEngineer, NX, SolidEdge, Solidworks, Autodesk/Inventor o Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree. o Familiar with bug tracking and source management systems (Footprints, ClearCase, etc.) o Familiar with CAD Systems such as CATIA, ProEngineer, NX, SolidEdge, Solidworks, Autodesk/Inventor o Experience with customer service
