Product : Microsoft Online Services

Do you love working on critically important Microsoft products? Does a good user experience in products make your heart sing, while a bad one keeps you up at night thinking of ways to improve it? Do you get hugely excited when challenged to use the latest cool technologies, .NET 4, HTML5, and Azure? Have you cranked out quality code and shipped several products? Then come help us build the best user experience on the planet to enable commerce for Cloud Computing at Microsoft!

Delivering cloud services with great customer experiences is a key requirement to make Business Online Services such as Azure, Office 365, Intune and many others successful. The Microsoft Commerce Platform team provides commerce capabilities for all Microsoft Online Services such as subscription management, financial operations and integration with Microsoft's financial backend systems.

As part of the UX team in the Commerce division, you would work with our team to develop a large-scale, enterprise-quality UX platform for commerce. You would be responsible to own, design and implement your part of the platform. As this is a rapidly changing space, you'd be expected to learn new technologies quickly, and work closely with senior devs and your test, PM and design team peers to deliver great products in the context of an agile development process.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experiences:
Demonstrated ability to significantly contribute to and ship successful commercial graphical user interface applications.
At least 3 years' experience with C#, .NET and web technologies.
Experience developing on Windows Azure and Azure storage technologies preferred.
Technical leadership to own and drive a feature area from requirements through to testing and shipping.
An openness and excitement in experimenting with new and more efficient software development and product methodologies, such as agile development and testing in production.
Effective communication skills and collaboration with other engineers.
Solid engineering practices in design, coding, and testing.
Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.

If you are the right candidate to grab hold of a user experience vision, translate it into a solid, compelling, and technically interesting product to delight our customers, we want to talk to you. Apply today!
