The Director, Services Portfolio is responsible for the design, delivery and ultimate success of all packaged consulting offerings. Responsible for the design, development and rollout of new offerings and the program management of existing offerings, this role is critical to the success of the Professional Services organization. The qualified candidate will work closely with PS Management, Product Management and Marketing to refine the services portfolio to align to the needs and challenges of the GSI customer base.
One of the key functions of this role includes effective program management of the Guidance Software Advisory Program (GAP) offering, Implementations and other strategic consulting offerings within Guidance Software’s Professional Services organization. The GAP offering is a strategic solution centered on GSI’s customers’ success with our EnCase product technology.
Essential Functions: Creation of new packaged solutions and refinement of existing offerings
o Ability to work closely with PS Management, Marketing and Product management to align the PS portfolio to the needs of the customer
o Develop marketing materials and PS collateral that articulate the value of our services
o Create, manage and drive to successful conclusion, the project plan for new offering development and launch
o Develop and document process to collect, assess and integrate customer feedback into our future portfolio development capabilities Responsible for overall Success of Implementation offerings Continue to refine and improve the offering as the product changes and as the market dictates Evolve delivery methodology and ensure it is followed Assist PS and license sales teams with positioning Work closely with GSI Marketing team to refine and evolve the market message Ensure the appropriate level of training for both new as well as existing field personnel on the latest delivery methodology of implementations Program Manager for GAP program Responsible for existing GAP renewals as well as supporting new GAP customer sales Responsible for continued development and evolution of the program Refine market messaging Manage and report the status of existing GAP customer and pipeline of prospective GAP customers Ensure successful delivery of GAP contractual obligations Develop artifacts and IP related to the program. Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and potentials risks to PS customer base/growth plans Develop collateral such as white papers, presentations, sales tools, and competitive analysis in support of Services sales and marketing Create and deliver sales training for the direct sales force and support teams. Essential Requirements
Proven experience in managing advisory services or similar offering at a public software company.
Desired Skills 5+ years of experience within a forensic and/or eDiscovery firm developing service offerings Program management experience MBA degree or other related subject Experience with EnCase Enterprise products Currency USD
