ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provide courteous and professional consulting to customers in their quest for a beautiful home. Listen to the needs of the customer; guide them through the process of fulfilling those needs and set expectations accordingly. Complete all sales related paperwork neatly, accurately and completely ensuring established sales processes are followed. Consistently meet and/or exceed established sales goals through client retention, increasing average tickets and closing rate productivity. Inspect designated area on the sales floor to ensure that it is clean, organized and that all merchandise in area is tagged and displayed correctly. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to manage multi-task assignments, work independently, and perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or co-workers. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. REASONING ABILITY:Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, accounting, and other related computer programs. Ability to work varied hours/days required to oversee store operations.
