Job Description The information on this job description is designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this job. It is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees assigned to this job.The Information Security Architect (ISA) must constantly stay current on the latest developments on both the defensivepreventive end and the attacking end, and able to develop and manage the implementation of a unified Security Architecture that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the assets of the organization. The ISA must think like a hacker would in order to anticipate the moves and tactics that hackers will use to try and gain unauthorized access to the network and computer systems. QualificationsJob Responsibilities Skills Extensive background in all aspects of information security, technology governance and compliance processes Expert knowledge in risk assessment methodologies, security frameworks and relevant global regulations Possess highly developed skills in information security risk management in a complex, networked environment Expert knowledge of security techniques and technologies Understanding of secure software development life-cycle principles Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences Strong business and human resource management skills Demonstrated ability to apply sound business practices to protect the assets of the company Outstanding ability to rapidly assimilate and synthesize new information Strong capability to research and evaluate emerging technologies Strong understanding of the softwarehardwaretools to support and manage the IT Security environment Solid understanding of computing platforms, hardwaresoftware products, operations multiple app systems EducationExperience At least 10-12 years experience in the ITInformation SecurityArchitecture role Bachelor39s degree in Computer Science or related field Industry standard certification or additional 5 years experience Essential DutiesResponsibilities are as follows, but are not limited to Ability to lead teams strong project management and organization skills results oriented and self-motivated Coordinate project tasks and engage key stakeholders in work sessions to establish baselines for design Develop security architectures, policies, standards procedures and guidelines for an enterprise environment Implement and document information security processes, frameworks and methodologies Identify, assess, prioritize, document and recommend solutions for risk mitigation, and monitor for compliance Provide schematically detailed network infrastructure security assessment documentation of existing networkinfrastructure environments Expert guidance and consultation for security related questions from IT and business units Provide lead and mentoring support to junior staff Brocade is an Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer Brocade is committed to providing equal employment opportunity for all employees and applicants for employment.
