Responsible individual will be able to handle all aspects of the warehouse stores areas driving efficiency and accuracy throughout the stock control process. Duties include coordinating the daily movement for picking, put away, routing of incoming and outgoing material, kitting, labeling and transportation. Performs cycle inventory counts to maintain and verify accurate stock levels for both government and commercial material for inventory accountability and ensures that all items are properly controlled. Prepares warehouse stores for inventory/property audits and uses PRISM to process transactions and research discrepancies. Other duties include processing receipts, preparing documentation and providing packaging support. May use SOW to prepare kits and process material. Utilize process tools such as Raytheon Six Sigma for continuous improvement.
Provides daily support to Operations in the processing preparation and delivery of material to Operations. Responsible for Stores Shipping and Receiving documentation and tracking of workflow. Must work closely with Operations Management, Receiving, Stores and Shipping Leads in the daily execution of these tasks.
May be required to support Logistics and Operations with other efforts as required.
Must be willing to work occasional overtime.
Knowledge of Stores / Receiving Warehousing Practices
Operation of various Warehouse Material handling equipment to transport material and load and unload
Able to lift 25 lbs
Ability to learn multiple computer applications and tools, including MS Word and MS Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem solving, and analytical skills – ability to comprehend written directions and be extremely detail oriented
Ability to work with limited supervision with previous experience directing support personnel
Demonstrates the ability to control inventory using cyclical inventory processes
Functional knowledge of stock control, bin labeling and warehouse stores processes
Responsibilities also include receiving, packaging and other logistics functions as required to support Logistics
Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance
Associates Degree and PRISM Proficiency or the ability to learn Inventory/Warehouse system
High School Degree and 4 plus years of experience
