Baker Hughes Reservoir Software Group is a newly formed commercial software group based on three key suppliers of intuitive software tools for the E&P industry: JOA Oil&Gas, GMI, and Meyer & Associates. We have developed ‘JewelSuite™‘ – a highly innovative workflow application that integrates geological modeling and reservoir simulation on a Windows platform, GMI’s suite of products for geomechanical problem solving, and the MFrac – the world’s leader in hydraulic fracturing simulation software.

Account Executive – Houston

Job Summary: Manage named accounts in the United States – report to Regional Sales Manager. A role requiring Sales experience with a proven track record of success, leadership (team of technical sales engineers), teamwork, travel, and business smarts. Based in Houston.

Profile

Positive, energetic and confident senior sales performer, comfortable with winning new business as well as maintaining existing clients. Minimum 5 years sales experience in the oil and gas E&P business, selling Upstream software technologies, with a proven successful track record. A ‘hands-on’ sales executive A bachelors degree in petroleum engineering, geology or geophysics, is recognized as an advantage Skilled negotiator for forging corporate-level strategic partnership to drive long-term business growth. Accountabilities

Work with Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute an aggressive sales strategy and customer account plans to achieve Sales targets for the region. Use effective Opportunity Management / account management Execute direct sales: visits, seminars, lunch & learns. Initiate and manage technical evaluations. Close business. Achieve targets. Manage sales process, forecasting, account mapping, identification of stakeholders, regular reporting. Mentor junior sales engineers and steer technical sales engineers towards successful JewelSuite sales. This job requires extensive travelling.
