We are seeking a technical writer to join our Immunology group in Rockville, MD. A qualified individual would report to preclinical manager.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Work directly with preclinical team in preparation of reports and scientifically valid regulatory documents.
Write SOPs. Compile/analyze data and prepare data presentations.
Prepares and reviews technical documents for assay development, optimization and validation.
Participate in preclinical team meetings to provide input regarding deliverables, timelines, and processes needed.
Route documents for approval.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Update progress weekly.

Minimum requirements:

Ph.D, or M.S or B.S. in related science such as Immunology, Biology or Biochemistry,
B.S. requires 5-6 years, M.S. requires 3-5 years and Ph.D requires 1-2 years of previous Medical writer experience
Excellent medical writing ability with high scientific accuracy
Well versed in use of communication points
Familiarity with ICH guidelines and the AMA Manual of Style, 10th edition is a plus
Excellent teamwork and communication skills required
Good computer skills
