DbTemps is seeking an innovative and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our Denver team. In this role, you will prospect for new clients, meet with existing clients to grow business, discuss needs and solutions with clients, close business and provide post-sales support/documentation. Your objective is to identify short and long-term data management needs of the client and work collaboratively with the DbTemps Regional Director and recruitment team to provide support solutions through supplemental staffing and or on-site consulting. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently and in a start-up environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager is responsible to strategically approach, engage and close new accounts for DbTemps' data management solutions and services, as well as provide on going account management support.
Manage the end-to-end sales process for all opportunities including initial client communication, on-site presentations, RFI response, multi-day client workshops, RFP submission, negotiation and deal signing.
Work in close collaboration with director and recruiters to ensure that proposed offerings and services fully meet customers' business and technology needs.
Provide support to customers during initial phases of an engagement. Follow up and ensure total client satisfaction through the life cycle of the relationship.
Identify and develop potential alliance partnerships and seek out new market and services growth areas.
Assist with market research and competitive positioning analysis in partnership with director and recruitment staff. Also contribute to the continued enhancement of solution offerings and solutions offerings management.
Be a key player in developing the marketing strategy; be able to independently develop and execute marketing initiatives that are designed to strengthen relationships, knowledge and reputation.
Demonstrate strong personal communication and presentation skills to establish interest, credibility and trust.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations and industry related events.
Regional travel up to 50% is required.
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years sales experience required.
Business development background with sales and marketing experience preferred.
Consultative selling experience preferred.
B2B technology or consulting sales a plus.
Bachelors degree in Business or related field preferred.
Proficient in CRM software (i.e. Salesforce, Sugar CRM, Goldmine, etc.) required.
Strong computer skills, proficient with standard software, Internet, social media and web applications.
Experience selling analytics, data management, data modeling, predictive modeling, or business intelligence marketplace services preferred.
Experience with Business Intelligence Software.
Contacts within in the Data Management, BI or Vertical Solutions organizations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; outstanding presentation skills.
Strategic thinker with experience presenting solutions to senior-level audiences (operational experience preferred).
Strong work ethic and desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
High-energy self-motivated individual who is able to work well independently and with a team.
Successful performance in this job requires excellent problem solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
