The Clinical Specialist is responsible for the overall clinical supervision and implementation of the treatment program in accordance with Volunteers of America policies and procedures, program models, funding source standards, and best practices. New Jersey professional clinical license (LPC or LCSW) is required.
The position requires a Masters Degree in a related field and two years relevant experience in clinical treatment program. New Jersey professional clinical license (LPC or LCSW) is required in specific programs.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Lead client treatment and individual service plans from intake through discharge in accordance with the program regulations
Provide individual and group therapy or self government meetings.
Schedule and lead treatment team meetings.
Participate and assist in the development of staff training.
Maintain positive community relations and participate in necessary provider meetings.
Collect and evaluate program data.
Ensure that all programs meet funder, Volunteers of America program and accreditation standards.
Provide on call crisis intervention support.
Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Staff is well trained, professional, and ethical.
