General Position Summary
The Receptionist is responsible for answering and routing phone calls, greeting visitors and general administrative duties.
The position works under direct supervision and performs routine daily activities.
This position must demonstrate strong communication and client service skills, as well as have
good organizational and time management skills.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Answer and route incoming phone calls
Administer cell phone program and support for Boston office employees after proper training
Perform general administrative duties, including administrative support to others where needed, o
ccasionally assist with special projects across departments as needed
Maintenance and update of phone system and contact information, monthly update of jobsite, project and home office lists
Maintain conference room schedules and set-up/clean-up for meetings, keep front reception area tidy and clean
Coordinate and follow-up on office/building maintenance requests
Maintain adequate kitchen stock and keep kitchen area tidy
Assist in maintaining effective relationships with internal and external clients
Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment and Skanska Safety and Health Management Program

Dependability; 8:00am-5:00pm position with 1 hour for lunch

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma required
Reception or related administrative experience preferred
The Receptionist derives his or her authority, and performs all duties with guidance, from the Office Manager
Work Environment/Job Conditions
This job is performed in the office and requires frequent sitting (often working on a computer), some walking, standing, bending, and reaching.
Due to computer usage, there may be repetitive motions of the hands and wrists.
He/she must be able to navigate the office and must comply with all Company safety requirements in the office and on the jobsite.
