What you will be doing:
Install, configure, maintain servers and network devices in a global multisite datacenter environment.
Coordinate with datacenter providers for remote maintenance tasks
Coordinate with vendors for new equipment, maintenance and RMA
Monitor system performance and do performance tuning
Build and enhance monitoring systems
Abitlity to wield a screw driver
Have excellent Linux administration skills and understanding of system performance areas (memory, swap disk i/o, network i/o, etc.)?
Have strong troubleshooting, problem solving and performance tuning skills?
Have server technologies background in CentOS Linux, puppet. Scripting in shell and python, perl or ruby?
Have administration of Java systems?
Consider yourself experienced in Network technologies.
Database: MySQL; Clusters: hadoop, hdfs, hbase, switching, routing and load balancing, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, LACP.
Monitor technologies: nagios, collectd, graphite, linux-ha
