Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Formal training in clinical cardiac electrophysiology or Board Eligible/Board Certified in cardiac etectrophysiology is required. Experience in device development, device testing or clinical trials is desired.
Preferred areas of expertise include demonstrated advanced training and clinical expertise as academic cardiac electrophysiologist. Extensive experience in large clinical research trials is preferred.
The Cardiovascular Division of the Department of Medicine at the University of Minnesota invites applications for an academic cardiac electrophysiologist at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Clinician Scholar Track.
The selected candidate is expected to demonstrate leadership of independent academic and research projects. Candidates will be expected to develop a strong extramurally funded research program.
