High School Diploma or GED
The Physical Therapy Technician is a non-licensed worker who has satisfactorily completed an on the job training program which includes a written test and a practical. The technician assists with treatments and performs general housekeeping, including transporting patients.

This individual must be forthcoming, honest and cooperative in departmental matters involving self or others, and must promote the SRHS mission of "world class healthcare and wellness." He/She must understand that the SRHS Corporate Compliance Program places the burden of proof on the provider to show that there was no intent to commit fraud.
High school graduate or obtained equivalent certificate. Must have successfully completed an in house training program and passed the appropriate tests with a score of 80% or greater.
Experience is not required but is highly desirable.
Director of Physical Therapy
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. frequently throughout the day (as frequently as once every fifteen minutes, without strain and/or excessive fatigue); must be able to push wheelchair or stretcher patients as frequently as once every fifteen minutes without strain and/or excessive fatigue; must be able to stand for periods of time and do a great deal of walking/pushing; must have the flexibility to turn, bend, lift, climb and use a great variety of physical motions in performing daily activities of work.
