The University of New Mexico has established branch colleges to serve the citizens of New Mexico and to provide the highest quality of education for students pursuing post-secondary education at different locations throughout the state. Branch colleges respond specifically to the unique needs and multicultural backgrounds of their respective communities by offering communities community education programs career education including certificate and associate degree programs, and transfer programs that prepare students for upper division entry into colleges and universities. Coordinates and assists in job search and placement for currently enrolled students in accordance with federal, state, and university regulations, policies, and operating guidelines. Maintains confidential client and referral records, administers job surveys and questionnaires, and delivers and/or coordinates presentations, workshops, and seminars, as appropriate to the position. Participates as appropriate in systems/procedures planning and management; implements and coordinates specific individual programs and/or assignments, in accordance with the overall objectives of the department. Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of experience that can be demonstrated to be applicable to the duties listed in the job description.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, 3-5 years experience in a similar position. *Knowledge of current and emerging trends in technologies, techniques, issues, and approaches to career/job searches. *Experience in resume writing and interviewing. *Marketing experience. *Cold calling experience. *Demonstrated experience in working with employers in the private sector. *Demonstrated experience working with workforce development agencies. *Demonstrated experience in job match and analysis.
