Reports to the Board of Education and serves as Treasurer for all District funds• Serves as the chief fiscal officer and supervises an office of six employees• Prepares payrolls, financial statements and pays warrants at direction of the Board • Prepares, in cooperation with the Superintendent and Business Manager, budgets and projections of revenues and expenditures• Serves as Secretary to the Board and keeps minutes of meetings• Cooperates with District administrators in other financial matters, including bond sales, preparation for negotiations, and maintenance of records and communications with state and federal agencies.The District has 5800 students and a $106 million budget. It has rising student achievement, modern facilities and an innovative Early College High School. Youngstown is in an economically vibrant area, and is home to Youngstown State University and has a rich assortment of parks, museums and performing arts venues. Starting date of September 2012 or by mutual agreement.
