ROLE of the POSITION
The UNLV Department of Foreign Languages invites applications for a full-time, renewable Faculty-in- Residence position in Spanish to begin August 2013. The appointee will teach four Spanish courses per semester: language courses at the undergraduate level as well as other courses based on department needs, especially Spanish for the Professions courses.

QUALIFICATIONS
The successful applicant will have a native or near-native command in both Spanish and English. Ph.D. from a regionally accredited college or university or its equivalent in Spanish required. Experience teaching Spanish for the Profession courses, especially Spanish for Business, Spanish for Medicine, and Spanish for Tourism is highly desirable.

SALARY RANGE
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
