Currently we are seeking a highly motivated Document Control Clerk to join a superb Title company in Moon Township, PA!
Essential job duties are listed below:
Ensure all documentation is added to the lender’s loan closing package to ensure a successful closing appointment.
Ensure the Closing agent is aware if they need to collect funds from the borrower.
Email a copy of the loan closing documents to the Borrower for their records.
Respond to emails, phone calls in a timely manner to ensure any last minute documentation changes are coordinated / completed in time for the closing appointment.
Demonstrate a proficiency in loan/document recognition, analysis, tracking and file flow.
Ensure Loan Documentation is complete and delivered appropriately to the Closing Agent in time for closing.
Perform pre-audit screenings to ensure all documents are received (If not, request additional documents from closer.)
Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
Provide service both over the phone and in person.
Complete a designated minimum number of files per day.
Meet prescribed production levels and quality standards.
Research and retrieve documents from: Clients; Settlement Officers; Title Clearing, etc.
Ensure there are no post closing issues for missing documentation.
Ensure that all loan packages are delivered in time for closing daily.
Ensure that appropriate training is available for optimal employee development and success.
Add Title Affidavits and other (Loan Specific), required affidavits to the lender’s loan package and deliver the documents to the Closing Agent through an encrypted email.
Requirements:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience communicating at all levels within the organization.
Strong attention to detail and proven ability to maintain focus when faced with conflicting priorities/demands.
Computer literate including experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows.
Ability and willingness to adhere to established work order quotas, as directed by management.
One year of related or direct experience within title, mortgage or paralegal capacity.
Qualified candidates must be able to:
Provide seven years verifiable work history (names, addresses, phone numbers, and accurate dates of employment)
Successfully pass a county criminal background investigation
Provide two professional references; references should only be those who have direct knowledge of your work experience, such as Supervisors or Hiring Managers
