Perform insurance support functions
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform insurance functions necessary to support an Account Manager to include, but not limited to, processing claims, billings, file maintenance, policy changes processed by upload or memo, cancellation requests and binders.
Sort mail and distribute.
Follow up on Suspenses.
Enter commission statements.
Update non-download renewals in AMS.
Check new and renewal policies.
Send rewrite comparison letters.
Order MVR's Clue Reports.
Pull property reports in Ingens.
Back up receptionist - duties to include greeting and escorting clients and visitors to proper party and answering receptionist phone.
Perform other duties as assigned. Qualification Requirements:
Education - High school graduate or equivalent
Experience Required - Not Applicable
Skills - One year of personal lines insurance account servicing. Knowledge of personal computer operations, including internet and Microsoft products, basic word and excel. Ability to communicate well orally and in writing - Customer Service Skills. Ability to take and follow directions. Ability to maintain an organized workflow. Must possess Property/Casualty license or be able to obtain within one month from date of hire to this position.
Tenure - Personal Insurance Customer Service Representative I, category 13, requires six months as a Personal Insurance Customer Service Representative Trainee or equivalent with performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Personal Insurance Customer Service Representative II, category 12, requires six months as a Personal Insurance Customer Service Representative I with performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Must have a demonstrated grasp on Agency activities and have mastered assigned duties. Directly related work experience and/or accelerated training completed may be substituted for tenure.
