  • Responsible for cultivating and closing sales driven from renewal opportunities in the Small Business segment
  • This team is expected to identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions via up sell of additional products and/or services
  • Exercises judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action
  • Uses both established and un-established resources to execute sales responsibilities
  • Works to help team improve processes
  • Inter-departmental Communication: Develops working relationships with other Symantec departments, takes the lead to resolve issues
  • Customer Interactions: Reactive with some proactivity, strong written & verbal communication, consistently provides advanced, courteous, professional sales-focused support to targeted customer base
  • Sales Tasks: Advanced questioning, engages in frequent up-sell/cross-sell activity
  • Basic to complex configuration skills, advanced partner program knowledge
  • Meets activity based metrics
  • Tracking of revenue associated with leads
Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of policies and procedures, advanced product knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of tools (Oracle, Business Objects, CRM, & Apropos)
  • Contributes to the development of concepts and techniques
  • Encounters a variety of different situations and applies a wide range of established procedures and methods
