Duties and Responsibilities:
The Olathe R&O Site Leader is responsible for leading a Repair & Overhaul service center located in Olathe, Kansas. The Olathe R&O Site Leader will provide leadership and have overall responsibility for Repair/Overhaul Operations, Process Development, and the integration of Quality, HS&E, and the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) improvement initiatives. The Olathe R&O Site Leader is also responsible for delivery of service quality, cost, cycle time, inventory, employee satisfaction, and the implementation of initiatives to align with the Aftermarket Services business goals.
This position is reporting to the Americas Electronic Service Center Vice President and works closely with the Olathe OEM as well as the Bendix King leadership. Responsibilities also include partnering with the SBUs, including airlines, commercial helicopter operators and MROs, and BGA aftermarket customers. Channel partners are also a key customer. Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain or operations management.
6 years experience in an manufacturing operations or supply chain organization.
6 years leadership experience required.
MBA degree preferred.
Experience leading multiple functionalized teams to achieve business objectives.
Demonstrated experience driving for business results and building strong teams with positive employee relations
Strong leadership, communication, and business partnering skills along with excellent negotiation and problem resolution
Green belt certified, Black Belt or Lean Certification preferred
Knowledge of FAA FAR's, Aftermarket Services Operations, HOS, Material Supply Chain, process and quality management
Knowledge, skill, and ability to implement Lean manufacturing principles and other process improvement initiatives.
Ability to lead changes and establishes operational metrics and key indicators for process control, communication, and performance improvement.
