Put your software development and PLM/Teamcenter/Interspec skills to work and help improve our Product Development and Innovation processes. As part of our fast-paced Enterprise Information Systems Team, you will provide focus, and leverage a precise skill set to provide increasing value and decreasing costs over time for users of our Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. Systems analysis, business process analysis, information consistency, and development in Teamcenter and Interspec are your primary tools for supporting our vital process initiatives. In addition to impeccable development and analysis skills, a clear grasp of the “big picture” in business will be essential as you follow and react to ongoing interactions between departments.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Software Developer / Analyst III will:
Work hand in hand with business owners, other system developers, and Siemens PLM Support to insure optimization of product innovation and data management processes and systems.
Analyze business goals, rules, and processes across various information systems tools and technologies
Develop or enhance information systems solutions as needed, specifically within Siemens PLM systems, performing necessary support, maintenance and upgrades
Responsible for specification, configuration, installation, maintenance, and support of Teamcenter four tier Unified Architecture and Interspec for multiple server environments and client levels.
Plan, deploy and launch server and client software updates and upgrades with project teams
Develop custom queries and implement classification hierarchies to allow end-users to efficiently and effectively locate items of interest.
Develop and maintain Teamcenter and Interspec workflows, overall workflow design, and handlers.
Responsible for creating and managing the standard operating procedures for Teamcenter and Interspec User account creation, maintenance, and license management including, but not limited to; organization, users, groups and roles.
Simplify, enhance, engineer, or re-engineer the business processes
Develop and maintain documents detailing requirements, design, implementation, and maintenance of our information systems tools and technology
Requirements
The Software Developer / Analyst must have:
B.S. in Computer Science or a related field
At least five years’ experience in systems analysis, business process re-engineering, and software development implementation in support of Product Lifecycle Management, ideally for a company with a complex global product development environment.
At least three years’ experience developing applications using Teamcenter and/or Interspec to deliver application functionality with superior end-user performance
Experience with Enterprise PLM applications including Siemens PLM
A passion for learning new technologies, applying technology in the solution of business problems, and tenaciously solving problems down to root cause
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
