As the Store Manager, your primary role is to provide leadership that drives sales and creates an exceptional customer experience. You are ultimately responsible for the daily operations of the store including staffing, merchandising, inventory, and developing a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

Set standard of excellent customer service on selling floor through training of Assistant Manager and sales staff

Achieve sales, profit and loss prevention goals

Execute timely and effective communication with District Manager, Assistant Manager and sales staff

Ensure staffing follows store budget and is adequate to maintain high level of customer service

Provide individualized coaching/development and counseling for all staff members, including annual performance evaluations

Provide strong leadership by creating a positive work environment

Maintain and support Hanna Andersson values and policies

Ensures store presentation is consistent with company standards

Qualifications

5 years retail sales experience, with at least 2 years in retail management

Successful supervisory experience managing a retail sales staff of up to 10, including Assistant Manager

Understanding of inventory processes, merchandising and promotional techniques, and customer service standards

Refined communication and inter personal skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy

Experience working with POS and computer based systems

Professional appearance and demeanor

Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
