Specific Job Description
This Logistics Engineer Sr position will interface with various program functions to identify and implement obsolescence risk mitigation. Work scope will include determining actions to minimize the impacts of diminishing sources of supply and potential component and material obsolescence issues throughout the contractual period of performance. Coordination with Product Support, Finance, Contracts and Engineering functions, at a minimum, will be required to develop cost trade studies. This position will also support the International Product Support team by coordinating logistical concerns, obsolescence notifications, and contract specific procurement of obsolete components.

Standard Job Description
Reviews field support requirements and recommends tool and test equipment. Establishes calibration requirements for field systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks. Performs maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers. Reviews handbooks for technical adequacy. Assists in the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support. Plans and contributes to proposal efforts.
