Work with a team of developers, designers and business experts to expand and harden an existing GWT application, focusing on making appearance and behavior consistent on all pages and in all major browsers, as well as adding new usability features and new functionality and developing new mobile applications.
Although our engineering team works very closely together, and each of our developers will have opportunities to work on all parts of our application (UI, backend, mobile, etc.), we are looking for candidates with some specific skill sets to start with:
3+ years working with Java.
3+ years working with HTML and CSS.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Familiarity with Google Web Toolkit (GWT) version 2 or above.
Some experience with the tools that we use in our development environment: Ubuntu, Eclipse, Maven and Subversion.
Preference will also be given to candidates who have additional experience with any or all of the following:
GWT MVP and Activity and Place architecture, UiBinder and Request Factory
HTML5/CSS3 and modern page layout practices.
Mobile web ui and application development (esp. using Phonegap or similar)
Google Maps API (v3)
Google Chart Tools
Unit and integration testing with tools like JUnit, Selinium and Arquillian or similar.
Java EE 6 (CDI, EJB 3.1, MDBs, JPA 2.0).
