This legal fellowship is a year-long, program in GE’s Washington, DC office supporting the US Government Affairs team. We are seeking candidates with a variety of backgrounds including law, business, economics, and government affairs.
Research US public policy and regulatory issues such as, financial services, energy, healthcare and transportation
Attend Washington-area briefings and meetings relevant to GE
Write memoranda and conduct legal research and analysis
Create and edit presentation and briefing materials for the team
Assist GE on various ongoing initiatives related to policy and legal matters
Liaising with policy groups external to the company
Develop, maintain and support databases as needed
Coordinate office requests such as responding to internal & external requests for information and documentation
Special assignments / projects as assigned
Graduate Degree or Law Degree
One year, full-time (40 hours / week) commitment
