This legal fellowship is a year-long, program in GE’s Washington, DC office supporting the US Government Affairs team. We are seeking candidates with a variety of backgrounds including law, business, economics, and government affairs.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Research US public policy and regulatory issues such as, financial services, energy, healthcare and transportation
  • Attend Washington-area briefings and meetings relevant to GE
  • Write memoranda and conduct legal research and analysis
  • Create and edit presentation and briefing materials for the team
  • Assist GE on various ongoing initiatives related to policy and legal matters
  • Liaising with policy groups external to the company
  • Develop, maintain and support databases as needed
  • Coordinate office requests such as responding to internal & external requests for information and documentation
  • Special assignments / projects as assigned

    Qualifications/Requirements
    Basic Requirements:
  • Graduate Degree or Law Degree Eligibility Requirements:
  • One year, full-time (40 hours / week) commitment
